Education English | Recount Text | Last Holiday my family and I visited Taman Pintar (taman means park, and pintar means smart ) in Yogyakarta. Taman Pintar is located not far from Malioboro street, the most famous place in Yogyakarta.
We went there by train . We left for Yogyakarta at 8.30 a.m and arrived at Tugu Railway Station forty-five minutes later. Many becak drivers were offering their services to some passengers when er were out of the railway station.
We were very excited that finally we were in Yogyakarta. Soon we walked to Malioboro street. We decided to have soto as our breakfast. We were enjoying the soto while inhaling the fresh air. Not many were passing by that morning.
At about 9:30 we headed to Taman Pintar on foot. We were chatting along the way. We talked about our experiences in the train. We also talked about Pasar Beringharjo. We saw many people passing by and some others bargaining things . Many becak drivers were waiting for people to ride on their becaks.
We arrived at Taman Pintar fifteen minutes later. My sister and I were amazed at the building. I couldn't wait to see what was inside the building entrances tickets for all of us. The tickets were cheap enough.
There were two big buildings and a large playground. There were children playing at the playground when we arrived. They all locked cheerful. My sister wanted to join them, but I told her to do it later. Then, we entered one of the big buildings, named Gedung Oval. We saw information board showing what people could see in the building.
We spent at least three hours in Taman Pintar. We left the place after having lunch together. We were tired, but we were very happy.
